What size shredding jobs can AAA Document Destruction handle?
No job is too big or too small for AAA Document Destruction. Our flexible staff can fit the needs of any company or individual. Our services include a one-time cleanout for companies that have documents stored away or a regular scheduled service for those who consistently dispose of confidential data.
Can you shred confidential documents at my facility?
No—we shred only off-site in our controlled environment. We will pick up your documents at no charge and provide you with a certificate of destruction.
How long will it take to shred the material collected from my location?
Standard operating procedure dictates that all media is destroyed within one week of acceptance. AAA Document Destruction destroys all material within 24 to 48 hours after collection.
Why use a shredder when I can shred documents myself?
Using office shredders is time-consuming and not cost-efficient. AAA Document Destruction can be up to 3 times less expensive than maintaining an office shredder.
What happens to the material after it is destroyed?
Once your documents are shredded, the paper is put into bales and sent to recycle centers. The material we shred at AAA Document Destruction becomes toilet paper, paper towels, napkins, facial tissue, notebook paper, etc.
Does AAA Document Destruction provide containers for my company to store
paper until it is ready to be picked up?
Yes, AAA Document Destruction offers new, professional-looking, locking containers with convenient paper slots. All containers are clearly marked with our name and phone number and are provided at no charge. We offer a 32-gallon square console holding approximately 85 lbs., a 64-gallon bin holding approximately 200 lbs., and a 96-gallon holding approximately 275 lbs.
What if the containers are full before the scheduled pick-up?
Not a problem. We are able to provide additional pick-ups, and are equipped to make these pick-ups the same or next business day if necessary.
What if I have a warehouse full of documents that need to be destroyed?
Simply call and we can schedule a time that is convenient. We will bring all the necessary material handling equipment for removal. The material will be loaded into our secure truck and brought to our facility for destruction.
Do I have to remove staples, paper clips, or other types of fasteners?
No. Our shredders are equipped to handle all type of fasteners. With AAA Document Destruction, there is no wasted time sorting through stacks of paper to remove staples, etc.
Do I receive any documentation at the time my documents are removed?
AAA Document Destruction provides clients with a written Certificate of Destruction confirming the date, time, and amount of material removed. The Certificate certifies your records were destroyed and is considered a legal document.
